Skunk Anansie, one of the UK’s most successful and ground-breaking rock acts, have today issued the first single from their sixth studio album,‘Anarchytecture’, due for release ‪on January 15th.‬‬‬‬‬‬

The single, ‘Love Someone Else’, is available as an instant download upon pre-order of ‘Anarchytecture’.



‘Anarchytecture’ – a collection of hard-hitting alternative rock ant hems, brimming with punchy riffs and contemporary sounds & textures, plus the signature fire-power of vocal powerhouse, Skin – is the follow-up to 2012’s ‘Black Traffic’, and features the group’s regular line-up of Skin, guitarist Ace, bassist Cass & drummer Mark Richardson.

The new 11-tracker – produced by Tom Dalgety (Royal Blood, Killing Joke, Band Of Skulls) at RAK Studios in London, mixed by Jeremy Wheatley, and mastered by the legendary Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound in New York – will be supported by a run of European headline shows, including two dates in the UK, visiting fans North and South.

About Skunk Anansie:
Skunk Anansie formed in 1994, went on hiatus in 2001, then reformed in 2009. To date, they have released five studio albums: Paranoid and Sunburnt (1995), Stoosh (1996), Post Orgasmic Chill (1999), Wonderlustre (2010) and Black Traffic (2012); they have also issued the compilation album ‘Smashes and Trashes’ (2009), plus the acoustic CD / DVD ‘An Acoustic Skunk Anansie – Live In London’ (2013), along with a run of hit singles, including ‘Charity’, ‘Hedonism’, ‘Selling Jesus’, ‘I Can Dream’ and ‘Weak’. Skunk Anansie went on to become one of the biggest rock bands in Britain and Europe throughout the ’90s, selling over 5 million records and doing 7 sell-out world tours up to 2000. In 1999, the band headlined the Glastonbury festival, and they have also performed with Pavarotti for the Dalai Lama, and Nelson Mandela for his 80th Birthday ‘Gift To The Nation’ shows.
